This statement sets out the steps CollabSeason takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its operations and business relationships, together with planned improvements to our approach.
1.Our business and supply chain
CollabSeason is a membership platform that brings together paid, gifted and affiliate collaboration opportunities for creators. We help members discover opportunities across fashion, beauty, skincare and lifestyle, understand brand requirements and find out how to apply.
Our operations rely on technology and digital service suppliers, payment and membership service providers, content and marketing providers, and professional and operational support services. The brands featured on our platform operate their own businesses and supply chains; listing an opportunity does not mean that CollabSeason owns or manages those operations.
We recognise that risks can extend beyond our direct service providers and may also arise in the wider activities of brands, agencies, contractors and subcontractors.
2.Our commitment to human rights
CollabSeason is committed to opposing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, child labour and other exploitative practices. Our guiding principle is that human rights are universal.
We aim to build a creator and brand community that reflects integrity, inclusivity and transparency. We expect the partners and service providers we work with to respect human dignity, freely chosen employment, fair treatment, non-discrimination, health and safety, and workers’ rights.
3.Risk assessment and due diligence
We recognise that modern slavery risks may arise within extended supplier networks, including garment production, logistics, content production and outsourced services. Risk can vary according to the nature of the work, location, recruitment practices and use of subcontractors.
Our onboarding due diligence includes ethical compliance questionnaires for brand and vendor partners, confirming their adherence to human rights standards. Our mandatory vendor standards prohibit forced labour, child labour and other exploitative practices.
We monitor potential risks across our commercial relationships and apply additional scrutiny where a partner is located in, or sources from, a region associated with higher-risk labour practices. We reserve the right to audit partners or request supporting information where concerns are identified.
4.Policies and ethical standards
CollabSeason’s business conduct and ethics standards incorporate policies that uphold and promote fundamental human rights. Relevant codes are provided to team members during onboarding, and adherence is mandatory.
Vendor Code of Conduct. Our mandatory vendor standards set out expectations on freely chosen employment, fair treatment, working conditions, non-discrimination, health and safety, and respect for workers’ rights. These expectations cover permanent, temporary and subcontracted workers.
Ethical sourcing. We expect compliance with applicable labour laws, responsible subcontracting and the avoidance of exploitation. Our ethical expectations cover working hours, pay, terms of employment and inhumane treatment.
Employee Code of Ethics. Mandatory for CollabSeason staff, our employee standards cover transparency, respect for human rights, reporting concerns and zero tolerance of human rights abuse. Team members are required to acknowledge and follow the standards relevant to their roles.
5.Raising concerns
Concerns about suspected modern slavery, human trafficking or related exploitation connected with CollabSeason can be sent to support@collabseason.com or raised through our Contact page. Please provide enough information to explain the concern without putting anyone at additional risk.
We will consider reports sensitively and take appropriate steps in response to the information available. We aim to handle information confidentially where possible, while recognising that it may need to be shared to investigate a concern, protect someone or meet a legal obligation. This contact route is not presented as a separate anonymous reporting service.
6.Goals and planned improvements
By 2030, our aims are to introduce human rights self-assessments for relevant brand and service partners; annual compliance attestations for key vendors; and resources that help our team and partners understand ethical sourcing and supply-chain responsibility.
We also intend to develop a risk-based supplier assessment framework, consider sourcing transparency in relevant partner relationships, and explore working with appropriate specialist organisations or independent sustainability platforms.
These are forward-looking aims. We will review their scope, timing and progress as our business and supplier relationships develop.
7.Oversight and review
Oversight of modern slavery prevention rests with CollabSeason’s senior leadership, supported by the Sustainability Council. The Council supports the review of our ethical approach, human rights risks and planned improvements.
This statement will be reviewed and updated annually. Future updates will describe the steps taken, progress against our aims and further improvements to our approach.
